Our new walk is for me and Tin and Loca to get to the corner of the park on City Park and Carrollton (which btw I’m pushing for a crosswalk there – it’s so dangerous!) and then to let him down in the park where he walks as fast as he can all the way to the fountain. He stops every now and then to look up at the magnificent oak trees or the tall lithe pine trees and he exclaims, “AHHHHH!” Loca and I meanwhile have slowed our walk down considerably to stay in step with Tin.

But you know what, and this may sound like a cliche, but that slower pace is helping me see the bright green new leaf on the oaks, and the chartreuse green foliage on the cypress and even to stand back and look at those towering pines swaying at the top. The small yellow flowers in the grass, the white clovers, the green ginko leaves.

1. Taurus (4/20-5/20)

   You may not be able to leap tall buildings in a single bound, but you’re okay with that. Though you have to settle for using the elevators or the stairs, small steps are exactly what the situation calls for right now, so go for it! In the end, the methods used don’t matter as much as getting the right result. Even if you were faster than a speeding bullet, you wouldn’t end up getting where you need to be any faster.
