Taking the R out of Responsibility and putting it back where it belongs

I used to have a friend who said R in Rachel stood for Responsibility – she said I was someone you could count on. Well that theory has been tried and stressed and even failed once or twice but I have to ask myself at the end of this long day where I was trying to get it all done, be responsible with a capital R, and you know what – at the end of the day I’m depleted because I didn’t take any responsibility for R as in Rachel as in not running myself ragged. I did have a good friend come over and cook me dinner and now that is pretty darn good but at this point in the day, I’m done, dead, disaster as I told Tin when we were going through our alphabet. A for apple, B for bayou, C for cat, and D for disaster – the only thing I could think of that starts with a D – sign of the times – of my spent body and mind.

Time to put some R back in – like rest, recreation, relaxation for Rachel and give the big R a rest for a moment.

Alice! I missed your voice. I (we) are thinking about you all the time and sending all our love.
