Bush is a FRAUD
Four years ago for the election Bush scared the shit out of the American public by making them believe that if they voted for anyone but him the terrorist were going to come over and decimate us. Night before last, FOR THE UPCOMING ELECTION, he almost cried as he told the American public that we are going to hell in a hand basket – the EMPIRE is crumbling – and we need this bailout which is going to cost you, me, and Joe Blow down the street lots of our hard earned dollars – but dear readers THE EMPEROR HAS NO CLOTHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Everyone is scared – everyone is panicking.
This is a time for clear headed-ness, a time for long-term solutions, a time for bucking the status quo and going with unfavorable views and take a good hard look at the problems and finding real answers. There is only one man who is capable of doing this – Barak Obama – I hope he heeds the call.

bush and obama are basically in lock step (with paulson). its the republicans in congress who are opposed to the bill. I’m not sure I see what clothes bush professes to be wearing which obama would reveal as hucksterism?

Bush is wearing his crisis suit. Look again.

maybe I’m too mainstreet to get it. bush and obama and mccain all support more or less the same plan. not enough congressional republicans do (as of this am).

Democratic Congressman Barney Frank, chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, said Democrats would want certain changes, such as guaranteeing that the pay for bosses of the firms being bailed out was limited.
“The private sector got us into this mess,” said Mr Frank. “The government has to get us out of it. We do want to do it carefully.”
Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama joined those Congressional Democrats asking for limits to be placed on personal benefits given to bankers, whose unwise loans contributed to the crisis.
He also called for a wider bail-out that helps homeowners at risk of losing their homes as well as those on Wall Street.

paulson and bush are fine with that. its the real fiscal conservatives (no longer the majority of the republicans who care more about morals than making things work) holding it up…right?

I cannot explain it to you then. First of all you have to understand that while this is an important matter the urgency that Bush is giving it is completely misleading. Obama is for propping up the market with a bailout as long as it doesn’t reward some and penalize others. He is not completely going along with what Bush or Paulson have put together. Where are you getting this from?
You need only go back to when Bush was trying to get re-elected and he scared the shit out of the American public by telling them another terrorist attack was imminent. He and everyone else has known that things were going south on Wall Street as early as March of this year. Yet in July he said the economy is fine – don’t worry. As long as you are willing to just sit like a sheep and listen to what this complete idiot is telling you (the American public) then you will go along with what he is saying right now – and he is wrong again. Do you think that BOA or JP Morgan are suffering from the current crises – no they are benefitting. The smartest commentary I saw so far was a piece comparing the current state of America to Japan ten years ago which set off a decade long recession in Japan – the sky was not falling, the ceiling was lowered and you can pretty much expect the same here or this correction is not worth its salt.
