Austin City Limits
Arrived in Austin this morning with an EEL posse and one bourgeoisie in tow trying to adhere to EEL rules for living while on the road, but alas, upon multiple recommendations we wound up eating at Gueros – honestly, Tacqueria Corona in New Orleans beats the food at Gueros hands down – the ice cream at Amy’s was delicious and the hip shops on South Congress were interesting enough.
T went to Las Manitas for lunch the next day and had a delicious meal – go there instead.

My 2 cents mi amor!
I love Gueros! I also love Las Manitas! Austin, I love you too!
Taqueria Corona (owned by El Salvadorians) is just OK for me.
I don’t think New Orleans has ever had particularly good mexican food.
Now, so many of our Mexican neighbors have moved here to help us rebuild, we are finally getting the opportunity to eat REAL mexican food.
VIVA LA MEXICO!!y la Gente y la Comida!!! SALUD
