Chris Rudge – keep him in your thoughts

Chris, the owner of Bacchanal and his wife, Otter, were in a car accident on Monday early morning and both sustained serious injuries. Friends are going to try to keep Bacchanal open while Chris and Otter are in the hospital – but obviously both need your positive vibrations. Chris created a micro universe at Bacchanal that is unparalleled in New Orleans or elsewhere. The funky patio is a unique gathering place for all types and ages and we wish him and Otter the swiftest and smoothest recovery to be had. Good luck, Chris – get well SOON – New Orleans needs you.

    I just remembered this post, Rachel. Crazy that we almost lost him 7 years to the month before we did for real. It still seems impossible.
