The Hunger Games

Does anyone find it ironic that an ex-heart throb I ran into at a restaurant told me my ex is in Venice [where he was supposed to take me for our 10th wedding anniversary since I got sick when we went there on our delayed honeymoon] having dinner with my ex-friend of 25 years who always thought him pretentious and who quit speaking to me because I told her her hair was frizzy one rainy day in a bar and simultaneously within the same rotation of the earth, I ran into my ex-lover who used to be my ex’s and my best friend and who I haven’t spoken with in eight years and he told me my bald head is beautiful.

“and he said: you pretty full of yourself ain’t chu

so she replied: show me someone not full of herself and I’ll show you a hungry person.”

Geez, girl, these days, your reality is TOtally stranger than fiction. With the dreams you’ve been having and all —> insert Twilight Zone music. What have you been eating???!! (or drinking, ha!)

It sure makes for interesting reads 😉

LOVE YOU… and your crazy life!

Mudd – IKR? This has always been the case, when I started to write fiction at the age of 27, my real life was way over the top and nothing I could imagine could compare – which is how I arrived at this blog ten years ago. I picked up my pen and my oldest brother had hired David Duke to be his radio announcer and said, “Business is business” and the headline in the paper read “Jew Hires Duke” and this was after he had accused him of setting his roof on fire when they were both running for Congress, at the same time my mother was in a tryst with an African American nurse who was her subordinate, my other brother was living like Scarface (he is now in prison), and the list goes on. How could I write a book of fiction given my life?

Yup, I know. You’ve got enough stuff to write more than one book/script — ever thought of it? I’ve been writing and trashing and re-writing my life story for decades — my reality could trump fiction any time. Guess that’s why I enjoy reading about YOURS so much… because it’s nice to see I’m not the only one who’s stepped through the mirror!

    “Jew Hires Duke” –> HA!
