A long time ago, one year to be exact
Today is December 7th, the one year anniversary of the first day I laid eyes on Tin for the first time. I remember that day like it was yesterday, first of all I was in shock – I had just buried my mother on Wednesday Dec 2nd, took ill on Thursday Dec 3rd, got the phone call on Friday Dec 4th, saw this iPhoto pic that our attorney took with his great aunt on Saturday Dec 5th:
Got in my truck on Sunday Dec 6th and drove one thousand miles, and on Monday, December 7th, I was holding my little baby in diapers with those big beautiful brown eyes. At no point did I find any of this unusual, which is what scares me sometimes.
This is us at the clinic getting our clean bill of health to be able to leave the state:
By Tuesday, Dec 8th we had driven through a snowstorm to get to Indianapolis and meet Tatjana and go to court on Wednesday, Dec 9th.
Wow – what a year! Happy Anniversary baby boy. Happy Anniversary to us.

Didn’t it pass quickly though?! Happy anniversary to you all.

To everything there is a season. And a purpose. Congrats, Bonne Anniversaire and, as ever, thank you for sharing this poignant and momentous event.

good grief rotating mass – where were you two last night? – we had a Hanukkah lighting and I forgot to make the call/email – miss you – must get together – are you going to the Swirl bubbly or the Moises tasting – I’ll be there as T and T2 are out of the country that week.

I just returned last night from more travel so we were home trimming and lighting our holiday tree. We’re planning to be at the bubbly event. Miss you too.

awesome Jerri and I are going to the bubbly so we’ll see you there for sure if not before. Want to hear all about your doctor without border experience.
