DO IT AGAIN!
Action: Sitting on the bayou sipping a glass of red wine with my aunt as my uncle strolled around the bayou and Tin crawled up and down out of his chair refusing to dine al fresco in the face of many other interesting things like canoes, duck, cars, sky. A friend rode by on her way around the neighborhood by bike looking at people’s art. Apparently today there was an art opening where people either opened their studios or their own collection to the public, not to mention it is WWOZ’s 30th anniversary and there was a second line parade and there is a concert at Tips tonight, but wait there’s more, Evan Christopher, John Rankin and James Singleton played on my neighbor’s deck while we sat out in the yard and enjoyed it so much during one applause I yelled, “Do It Again!” because it was so much fun. We got Tin up because he wasn’t sleeping yet and brought him out on the grass to listen and he grooved with the band along with his trumpet.
What a gorgeous day and tomorrow it is supposed to dip to 40 degrees. Do it again!
