Kangaroo mom
Tin and I walked with Loca to DeBlancs to pick up a prescription and while there the pharmacist had her 9-month old Rosemary on her hip. She asked how I could carry him when he is ten months old – and I said I plan to carry him as long as I can!
I was speaking to a mother who had adopted two children the other day and she said she still gives her two year old a bottle at night to sleep. Why? Because they missed the first year of being mom and baby and she is making up for lost time.
Similarly, I didn’t carry Tin in my belly, nor did I have him the first 9 months, but I want to hold him as close as I can while I can because the little boy is already walking many steps a day and soon will be walking to school and away from me.
