School days coming soon
I’ve escaped having to deal with schools up until now but of course, now it is paramount.
We have enrolled T2 into Newcomb for fall which is available to us because of T1 is at Tulane. He will be 20 months old when he starts there and the debate raging here is whether he goes full time or part time as I’m more inclined to nanny and school and T is more inclined to school. We’ll see how it goes.
But in the meantime, the mayor of the hood told me about a new school underway here that promises to bring quality education to our community. It’s the Morris Jeff School and it is opening the door to its elementary program this August.
Wouldn’t it be great if Tin could ride his bike to school?
