Our Croatian family arrived last night – mom and cousin – to visit for six weeks. Originally coming for a mercy visit – to help us with an infant that was due June 8th, they’re here for a truncated trip instead just to hang out. To show you how much the modern architecture movement is rooted in Europe, the first thing my mother-in-law said was she liked the LaLa and noticed it’s modern style.
Meanwhile, little cousin has grown up since last summer and when I first saw her at the airport last night, I was blown away by her beauty. She’s tall like a blade of grass and just as thin, but her face is becoming more woman-like already.
They’ll get a first-hand experience of summer in New Orleans.
