Gulf south air is thicker
I think I’ve written about this before, but headed out West to the dry air climate that everyone loves to rave about. Dry air has an appeal. Humid air feels hotter, feels colder, feels like you can’t breathe, messes with your hair. Right now the humidity is so thick here in New Orleans you could cut it with a knife. The sky is dotted with black and grey clouds, thunder in the background, one of those nice days to hang out in bed or on the couch, not a day you want to be flying out. But there it is – headed to a different climate, different time zone, different everything.
