The Art of Saying Goodbye

The art of saying goodbye takes one last look, remembering where you were when you arrived and where you are upon leaving, it’s sometimes sad and sometimes not, sometimes happy and sometimes not, and oft times takes courage.

LOVE the photos — so very beautiful.

When I saw your sleeping arrangements, I was reminded of my own.
Haven’t had a “real” bed for over 5 years. First I slept in a recliner, now
on the sofa. CAN’T WAIT for July as a friend of mine, who moved to France,
gave me her double mattress & box spring. It’s all waiting for me in my
son’s garage… for when I move into my new larger apartment on July 1.

    O JOY!

Do you have a specific moving date yet?

Mudd – I close on the house on June 3 but will be moving over a week’s period because of course the timing happens to coincide with a big research project that is due – so I don’t want them to disconnect my internet/phone until I’m ready which means they can’t take my desk etc. So I hope to be all in by the second week – June 10th is when the internet gets turned off and on. I can’t wait to get to my bed – 5 years – SMH – I’m sure that double bed is going to feel like a million bucks! O Joy indeed! Rachel

    Geez… busy times ahead!

    Will be thinking of you
    and sending ZEN VIBES.

For both of us Mudd – and the thing is that this time I’m not dreading it, I’m not having anxiety over it, I’m not fearful of it – I don’t mind what happens – I’m really looking forward to it.

    AMEN to that, Sister!!!
