Four legged greeting card
On the topic of riches, it’s amazing to me that the more I move away from the life I had known, the more the life that opens up is filled with abundance. Take for instance, the fact that going away from our four legged family members has always been such an issue – trying to find that right person who will care for your pets the way you do, who doesn’t cost more than what you are paying for your room and board away. We lucked out big time when Ed crossed our paths – he is minding the ranch and the animals while we’re gone and yesterday took Loca for a much needed bike-run – finally Loca must be thinking, someone who thinks like I do!

Mudd – that’s Loca, the black lab who jumped into my arms a few months after the storm when someone threw her out the door into a crowd of people. I called her Loca because I was crazy to take on another charge at that point in my life. She is a good dog – but her energy is like on speed times 1000. Ed is one of those angels that came into our life and agreed to come from his cooler home in North Carolina to watch them while we are gone. It’s been my gift since all the “stuff” has happened to have people come out of the woodwork who are wonderful like Ed. He is now biking with Loca to work out her energy. The tale of Loca is a long one and now has been a difficult one as we moved to the back of the house to rent the front and two dogs, two cats, and one child is one too many and we began looking for a home for Loca – but how do you get someone to love a dog that is at times unloveable with all her energy? So Loca is still at the LaLa until further notice and anxiously awaiting our return. Although in better hands with Ed!

Well it’s too bad we live so far away from you because I know for sure my son Vincent would be crazy-happy to take Loca. He already has a black lab β Charlie is 8 β as well as a German Sheppard mix, Layla, who was found wandering by the highway many years ago so we don’t know how old she is though we expect she’s pretty old… but Vincent’s house is HUGE and, of course, we’re in the mountains. Darn…
So I guess you’ll have to start biking when you get home, eh? π (the smiley face laughed her head off)
