Discovering your child
The other night when we stopped into the Hi Ho Lounge and saw the Stooges Brass Band, the first thought that went through my head was I wish Tin could be here. Afterwards, I kept having that same thought: if Tin saw the Stooges up on stage he would have had an epiphany of what he wanted to do in life.
But you know the truth is who knows? The other night when we had the jazz trio playing in our living room Tin was very interested but then he became as interested in the other munchkins running around the house. So maybe Tin is musical and maybe all kids are musical, and maybe he wants to do something completely different in his life like be a comedian.
Tatjana asked Tin the other night what color is Rudolph’s nose and he said, “Blue.” And since we all laughed, he continues to respond the same way even though now he has read the story, heard the song, and heard us say, “No, it’s red,” a zillion times, but he knows he is going to make us laugh if he says blue, so he keeps saying it.
