Shout out to Anne
The writer/director of The Louise Log informed me the missing episodes are available on metacafe – #5, 6, 7 and 10. I watched them and when I went to respond in this cyberworld I didn’t know whether to respond to her comments on my blog, comment on her blog, comment on metacafe, comment on the YouTube site for The Louise Log and since I’m no longer on Facebook I decided to just post my response on yours truly:
1) Readers, if I was on Facebook I would hit the LIKE button but I’m not so if you are on Facebook and enjoyed the Louise Log hit the like button (twice) for me.
2) I was just reading my word of the day pleonasm, which means redundancy but for writers it means don’t write what you don’t want to read yourself and so I thought about that because I don’t read blogs, or only very few, and what’s up with that? Meanwhile, I watched episodes 5, 6, 7 and 10 and because I’m now a (super)fan I liked it simply from the more is better philosophy that us Southerner embrace – never say in one word what you could say in two (see Faulkner), never use one syllable when you could add another (say Bob like this bah ob) – in other words, more is better. So I’m caught between two world views here – one where I knew Louise before I watched these four missing episodes so are they necessary – no; and while they don’t add to character development they do add to the plot details.
3) What I’m saying is I’m not sure if you should put them in or keep them out and so maybe that means out. But I’m not here to be a critic to someone who is doing a pretty damn good job creating a webisode while I’m writing a blog that I most likely wouldn’t read myself. You heard?

Okay, I went into Facebook at “liked” it and wrote This one’s for Rachel! I’m not sure what the heck I was doing, but I watched a couple of episodes, and I could get hooked. My two daughters will probably like it too. I have to go back and begin with #1. The bellydancing episode streamed in jerks, but I got the gist. The plumber was best.

Thank you Rachelllllllllllllllllllllllll. (not quite sure why the echoey sound seems appropriate) Just climbed out of a car after a very long 9 hours, some in blizzard-type conditions, and happy to find your shout out. Grateful for you weighing in on this red hot issue. Especially enjoyed your train of thought about where to comment!

Alice – I had a couple that did the same thing – rebuffering for unusually long periods of time – also I hope you are expanding your screen so that you get a full screen effect (right hand corner).

Anne – I have you to blame, or rather Louise, for now whispering all of the monkey chatter that used to be only in my head, it is leaking out in streaming whispers – “i’m never going to get there, why do I try to do too many things at once, what was I thinking, hey buddy don’t cut me off, breathe, I’m supposed to be practicing patience, ha, isn’t that funny, the bird landed on his sideview mirror, bet that freaked him out, wait where am I going?”
