Nature’s helper
We fully knew that when Tin started going to school the germs would start coming home, at least for the first year and oh yeah, they keep a coming. Tin’s still got leper hands as he is shedding the remains of the hand, foot and mouth but now yesterday we all came down with the dreaded cold again. I threw a shower saver on the floor of the shower this morning and cranked the water up as hot as can be and we all breathed in the steam and herbs to be able to breathe.
It’s Friday – how can that be? We’ve been on overdrive here getting ready for all the new things that are happening in our life while the city is on overdrive as it has stepped with both feet into the season, and so the body says – well if you want to keep it up, I’ll knock you down a peg. So I stopped this morning as I have been doing every morning at the window that looks out the back, where my Yemaya statue is and lit the candle for my mom and meditated and while I was half here and half nowhere I saw four blue jays rustling around in the crepe myrtle outside my window.
My horoscope this morning said:
The quiet simplicity of landscapes, trees and animals will be a tonic to your soul.
Right again.
